The INOX Variable Welding Lens represents a collaboration between proven technology and real-world welder feedback.

While Matador HQ is a growing company, this lens platform itself is far from new. The foundation behind the INOX lens has already spent years in the welding industry building a reputation for reliability, performance, and clarity through — one of the most respected manufacturers in welding lens technology - Tefuawe. 

Rather than reinventing a lens that already worked, we focused on improving the welding experience.

Through direct feedback from pipe welders, fabricators, students, and field professionals, we worked alongside Tefuawe to refine visibility, usability, and optical performance. The result became what we now call 8K CrystalShield Technology — an upgraded visual experience designed to enhance puddle clarity, definition, and overall weld visibility while maintaining the proven reliability welders already trusted.

What started as feedback from welders became something bigger.

Tefuawe believed in the direction strongly enough that they chose to move forward with the upgraded concept alongside us — giving life to the INOX collaboration.
